Adventures In Knitting

I made this blanket for my cousin's baby shower. I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out :)

It's made out of granny squares stitched together. Simple!

I'm just promoting my newest group :)

I created one for Friendship Afghans. With any luck we'll be able to create themed afghans (specific colors, etc.)

I HAVE been working on my projects. Right now I'm focused on a afghan/quilt hybrid thing LOL I've completed 15 out of 54 squares (yay me!)

I'm also working on more squares for the Friendship Afghan Project.

Lastly, the two sections I did for the Scarf Circle are FINALLY going out on Monday. (WOOHOO!)

this one started with melissa. i did the black part. i modified the deco ribbon elongated brick pattern i found on knittinghelp.com

this is a picture of the scarf thus far. the first girl did the grey, i did the black.

this scarf started with julie! i used another pattern from knittinghelp.com, a mock cable pattern that i adore.

(blogger decided to EAT my other journal! so i'm now posting all my knitting projects HERE at good ol reliable lj! here's a repost of my post from november 20)

just wanted to post a few of my "finished objects"! i'm always giddy when I finish something. mostly b/c I'm such a FREAKING PERFECTIONIST that i usually end up starting a project a few times before i complete it!

sorry for the incredibly blurry pictures, but my webcam SUCKS! anyway, i'll have better pics on wednesday when I get my film developed.

this first one is for the scarf circle that i'm in. this is currently the beginning of my personal scarf (yay!)


i used super saver yarn for this & a deco-ribbon scarf pattern found on knittinghelp.com


again, i used super saver yarn, plus a pattern that a friend sent me. i actually liked these first two squares a LOT.


more super saver yarn LOL with a very simple knit/purl combo. this was actually the very very first square i knit for this project.


this was another ribbed square pattern that i used in the second square. but instead of my favorite super saver yarn, i used lion brand chunky usa in cherry blossom. beautiful color, i plan on using it for many many squares!
